Hello Reader,

I thought you should know a little about me as you are taking the time to read my writing. My name is Gil Jones; I am the husband of one beautiful lady, the father of four precious daughters. While I cherish all of these dearly; I do cherish my Lord Jesus Christ. Much of what I write will reflect such a worldview that works within the boundary of my reformed Christian values. When I write on topics of this world they will correlate with topics of the next world as I cannot separate this life of mine now from that of Christ’s. As Paul David Tripp writes, “We are all meaning makers”, I too make meaning from my particular perspective. This means that whatever I write about will have this reflected. If I write about backpacking (which I love to do) I will marvel at creation and give credit to the Creator. If I write about politics I will always argue on the side of Christ.

While using this medium to write I promise to always be honest and give you, the reader, the truth. If for some reason I neglect to do so please respectfully let me know and prove to me that I have wrote in error, then I will recant and apologize. I desire to use this blog to the benefit of all of my readers no matter your worldview.
